Digital Media

Digital media have become a permanent part of our society, offering powerful opportunities for learning. At FSAS, children learn how to use these tools in a responsible manner.

Beginning in learning year one, learning partners begin the FSAS ICT curriculum. This curriculum focuses on age-appropriate use of technology and using media and technology for learning. As technology and media are ever evolving, our goal is teach students how to make responsible choices when using technology and encountering media.

We use iPads through all the learning years as the primary technology tool. The school is also equipped with MacBooks, interactive whiteboards, and robotics materials.

Using internet filters and a firewall, we ensure that learning partners are encountering only age appropriate content.
